NBS Rubber Abrasion Tester
The GT-7012-N is specifically designed to determine the abrasion resistance of rubber or other compounds used for the soles and heels of footwear with thickness not less than 2.54mm.
The test specimens mounted on specimen holders are subjected to abrasion against rotating abrasive paper under a specific load. By calculating the abrasion index based on the number of revolutions required to abrade a specific thickness of the specimen, its abrasion resistance can be assessed.
