MAESER Water Penetration Tester

The GT-7071-MWG is specifically designed to determine the dynamic water resistance of materials such as leather, synthetic leather, and fabrics.
During the dynamic water resistance test, the test specimens, shaped as troughs, are immersed in water and then subjected to flexing on the GT-7071-MWG to evaluate their resistance to water penetration.


PRINCIPLE: The MAESER water penetration tester is specifically designed to determine the dynamic water resistance across various types of materials. During the test, the test specimens, folded as troughs, are sealed and secured in two V-clamps. They are then subjected to repeated flexing at a constant speed in water to evaluate their resistance to water penetration.

V-SHAPED CLAMPS: Specimens are securely folded in V-shaped clamps during flexing, ensuring accurate and authentic test results.

FLEXING IN WET CONDITIONS: Specimens are flexed in water to simulate authentic wetting scenarios, replicating how materials respond to flexing while immersed in water in real world conditions.
