To assess the resistance of the upper materials specimens, they are clamped and subjected to reciprocal flexing with relative motion, simulating real-world flexing conditions encountered during the use of footwear.

APPLICATION: Well-suited for all soft upper materials including but not limited to leather and fabrics.
