GT-7300-MIC
Melt Flow Indexer
The melt flow indexer measures the extrusion rate of melted thermoplastics through a standard die under a prescribed temperature and load.
The melt flow rate data can help in optimizing the manufacturing process, maintaining quality control, and selecting the appropriate materials for production in the plastic industry.
PRINCIPLE: The GT-7300-MIC is an advanced melt flow indexer for measuring the melt flow behavior of thermoplastic materials. Using the timed measurement method, it precisely calculates the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of molten resins through an orifice die under controlled temperature and load. With an automatic weight selection system, the GT-7300-MIC provides up to nine distinct combinations of test weights for auto-loading and auto-unloading during testing processes, enhancing operational consistency, efficiency and safety.
BROAD INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION: Well-suited for various industries such as aviation, materials science, construction, automotive, scientific research, medical devices, and industrial manufacturing.
ADVANCED WEIGHT SELECTION CAPABILITIES: The automatic weight selection system supports a variety of test weight combinations and greatly reduces human intervention and workload by automating the loading and unloading processes.
PRECISION AND CONSISTENCY: With its high-precision operating system, this instrument ensures consistent and stable measurements, providing accurate test results.
WIDE APPLICABILITY: Helps manufacturers in the plastic industry inspect the melt flow rate of materials for R&D, quality assurance, and production optimization.
COST AND TIME EFFICIENCY: Significantly reducing human intervention and errors with a high-efficiency automatic control system to minimize production time and costs.
MFR AND MVR CALCULATION: Provides valuable insights into melt flow properties including melt-mass flow rate (MFR) and melt-volume flow rate (MVR), supporting the research of material fluidity and processability.
